Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to permanently delete your Mr. Money account — the personal-finance app operated by Hasnain Shabir — and all of the data associated with it.

You are always in control of your data. You can remove your entire account yourself in seconds, or ask us to do it for you.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)

Open the Mr. Money app and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account.
Confirm when prompted.

Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you'd simply prefer us to handle it, email support.mrmoney@gmail.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.

To help us verify it's really you, please send the request from your account's email address and include the name on the account. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days (usually within a few days), and we'll email you to confirm once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following from our systems:

Your account details — email address, display name, and phone number (if you added one).
All finance data you entered — transactions, wallets and accounts, categories, budgets, savings goals, and investments, including amounts, notes, and dates.
Any cloud backups saved to your account.
Your notification token, if you had reminders turned on.

Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete your account in the app, and any remaining local data is erased if you uninstall the app.

What we keep, and for how long

We do not keep a copy of your finance data after deletion. We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself (for example, the date it was actioned) only where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to prevent fraud and abuse. Any such record contains no financial data and is kept no longer than required by law, after which it is deleted.
